fuck the media

At least media writing class. I can't wait to get out of here to get the pain out of these eyes and put the red in them. I feel like I'm in an alternate universe this morning where the dumb kids are praised for using boring words and I'm criticized for apparently being part-thesaurus after we were told to make the writing "exciting." It didn't have to rhyme though, like I just did with "writing" and "exciting." Thanks for wasting my time 8am class! See you friday morning!

CUT THE CHORD

I'm sitting at my home in Beaumont watching "There Will Be Blood" (which could not have aired on showtime at such a hostile time). I havent blogged in a while because i've been extremely busy and for the past week ridiculously sick. However, because I love my band, because I love helping promote, and because i'm just an all around swell dude, (lol) I still went and promoted the show at the Hub friday with a few members of another band on Wednesday. This band that I assumed were semi-intelligent businessmen apparently miscommunicated to my pal Frank Faust about some things that I will keep disclosed. I would like to say that myself and Frank have personally helped these guys out in several instances and hell, my first band even gave them their first show. We have never asked for anything other than cooperation. We play your cd release party, you play ours etc. etc. Its just called RESPECT. This band has always let their for whatever reason inflated heads get in the way of being reasonable. I have never spoken out against this band, but ive never felt that they have supported anyone in the least bit. With that being said, let's write some more blink 182 rip offs and talk about whatever Tim Kasher is talking about and pretend that we're just a deeper version of 1999 pop-punk! Your heads may be Hollywood, but you guys will always be a joke to me. The truth is just the fucking truth.
